Altai, Karelia and Tuva have received the first tranche for the implementation of individual development programs

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has sent funding to the republics of Altai, Karelia and Tuva for the implementation of individual development programs. The first tranche of Federal funds in the amount of 221 million rubles has already been received in the regions, and the remaining funds will be sent by the Q3 end. In total, 1 billion rubles have been allocated for each region to implement individual development programs in 2020.

The republics of Altai, Karelia and Tuva were included in the list of ten regions that need the support of the Federal center to accelerate social and economic development. Individual development programs were created and approved for them at the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The Ministry, together with the regions, has prepared action plans with control events and deadlines for each event, which will allow evaluating the results of program implementation.

According to the individual development program of Tuva, this year the capacity of enterprises producing bricks and reinforced concrete products will be increased in the region. Also in 2020, the construction of a complex for processing wild plants and the organization of timber processing production will begin. In addition, this year, the development of design and estimate documentation necessary for the construction of a children's tuberculosis center in the Republic and a factory for the production of wool products will begin. In total, more than 3,760 new jobs will be created in Tuva as a result of the program.

In Karelia, the individual development program for the region until the end of 2020 plans to start construction of a robotic dairy farm, as well as the development of the archaeological complex "Belomorsk Petroglyphs" and perform a number of organizational measures for further capital construction. As a result of the program, about 1,700 new jobs will be created in Karelia.

In the Republic of Altai, the construction of 15 kindergartens is expected to be completed this year as part of an individual program. Several industrial parks and a dairy farm will also be created. In addition, a part of the program will be directed to the development of the tourism industry in the region. The program will create more than 1,880 new jobs in the region.
