The amount of Russian GDP by quarter 4 of 2021 will recover to the level of the 2019th, in 2022 the growth may constitute about 3 %. This was stated on the 29th of June by the Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov at the meeting with the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin concerning the situation on the labor market.
“It is stipulated in the National-Level Economic Recovery Plan that by quarter IV of 2021 we will return to the average annual GDP of the year 2019, and thereby we will fulfil the task of, shall we say, economic recovery,” the Minister said. “And since 2022, we return to the path of robust economic growth, so we have 3 % growth in figures,” he added specifying for information that their fluctuations will be possible. “This is now a forecast — due to the implementation of the package provided for in the National Plan,” Maxim Reshetnikov added.
