The delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia headed by first Deputy Minister Mikhail Babich visited the Grozny SEZ and a number of investment projects in the Chechen Republic, as well as the territories of development of the tourist potential of the mountainous part of the Republic – Kazenoy Am lake and all-season tourist and recreational complex "Veduchi".
The trip started with a tour of the Veduchi resort, which has been implemented since 2013. Now the construction of the South-oriented slope is being completed. The resort has already in operation: piste length of about one kilometer, chair lift, training area for beginners, a separate area with children's park and mobile artificial snow generation system. The track with artificial turf can be used for year-round skiing.
The master plan also provides for the development of the North-oriented slope of the resort. Taking into account that the regional resort Veduchi is of great importance for realizing the tourist potential and forming the investment image of the territory, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation supports the Government of the Republic in solving problematic issues of the project development.
The trip continued with a visit to the Grozny SEZ. The delegation was presented with the main characteristics of the object, the expected residents, the volume of extra-budgetary investments and plans for the development of the territory.
"The creation of objects with preferential treatment at the Federal level, in our opinion, should give a significant increase in the economic processes of the Republic, including stimulating the emergence of new jobs," Mikhail Babich commented. At the same time, the declared performance indicators of the special economic zone will require the concentration of efforts of all authorities of the Republic.
Taking into account the personal involvement of the subject's management Mikhail Babich also noted that there is every reason to believe that the project is effective.
After that, the delegation visited the YUGAGRO agro-industrial park, which has been operating since 2019. Four residents are registered on its territory. The agricultural park contains two greenhouse complexes, a water bottling plant and a plant for processing fruit and vegetable and berry products. By 2022, the project plans to attract about 1.7 billion rubles of private investment and create 225 jobs.
To date, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development is developing new approaches to stimulating the growth of the regional economy. "Such projects as agricultural parks, industrial parks and industrial sites can become an effective tool for the progressive development of the economy in the region," Mikhail Babich commented.
Then the investment project of Kavkazskoe Zdorovye LLC was examined, which is a complex for 1,200 heads of cattle for processing milk up to 10 thousand tons per year. The project is supported by the state program for the development of the North Caucasus Federal district.
Mikhail Babich noted the positive dynamics of project implementation. At the same time, there is a need to comply with the indicators previously established by investment agreements, which will ensure the return of budget investments in the region and will make it possible to reinvest funds in new projects in the future.
Also during the working trip of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Mikhail Babich and the Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov met. The parties discussed current issues of social and economic development of the region, including tasks and plans for the implementation of investment projects, prospects for the development of the Republic's tourism potential, as well as budget indicators set by the development program of the North Caucasus Federal district. They also noted that the region faces important economic challenges, which require a constructive bilateral dialogue.
