Under the framework of a series of meetings with the leaders of the republics constituting the North Caucasian Federal District, Mikhail Babich, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, Head of the Republic of Ingushetia, discussed socio-economic development of the province.
Ministry of Economic Development pays special attention to the implementation of investment projects provided for in the NCFD government program, as well as the projects implemented by KRSK. Separately, Chief of Ingushetia raised the issue of provision of the population of the republic with high-quality drinking water and building a drainage system.
The republic has repeatedly identified the problem of lack of its own funds for design and estimate documentation development for the most important objects. This issue is relevant for all NCFD constituent entities. According to Mikhail Babich, Ministry of Economic Development proposes to allocate federal budget funds not only for the construction of facilities necessary to ensure sustainable socio-economic development of NCFD constituent entities but also for the project design works.
In addition, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia supported the suggestion of the province to allocate funds for the NCFD development government programs to the construction of a major facility for the Republic of Ingushetia — a department of infectious disease (60 beds) in the territory of the republican children's clinical hospital in Nazran.
The day before, Mikhail Babich negotiated with the Chief of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania, Vyacheslav Bitarov. Meetings with heads of the other provinces included in NCFD are scheduled for the next few days.
