On the territory of the Omsk city district it is planned to create an industrial and production SEZ of the Avangard type. Five potential resident companies have confirmed their intention to invest more than 10 billion rubles in the creation of metal structures for the oil and gas industry, an industrial complex for the production of graphite electrodes, as well as a new plant for the production of bisphenol A. Residents will create at least 800 new jobs on the SEZ territory. Earlier, the creation of a special economic zone in the Omsk region was discussed during a working meeting between Russian Minister of economic development Maxim Reshetnikov and Omsk region Governor Alexander Burkov.
On the territory of the city district of Krasnoyarsk it is planned to create an industrial and production SEZ of "Krasnoyarsk technological valley" type, its creation is included in the complex investment project "Yenisei Siberia". At the moment, six potential resident companies have confirmed their intention to invest more than 6.6 billion rubles over three years and create at least 1,700 jobs. On the SEZ territory it is planned to manufacture industrial equipment for the resource - producing industry and metallurgy, as well as production of products for aviation and mechanical engineering.
At the moment, 33 special economic zones are already functioning in Russia, which have attracted 817 residents with a declared investment amount of 1091.4 billion rubles, of which 445.28 billion rubles have already been implemented, and more than 40,000 new jobs have been created.
