This was stated today, September 22, by the Deputy Minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Peter Zaselsky at the round table "Enterprise Management in a Pandemic". "Many organizations felt the pandemic not only in the economic sphere, but also in terms of "remote work" which affected all spheres of life," the Deputy Head of the Department stressed.

Now a number of issues caused by the transition to remote work are being systematized. Pyotr Zaselsky noted that on the one hand, the remote regime has the potential for efficiency, on the other hand, it requires to review the labor legislation.

Also, during the round table, graduates of the Productivity Leaders program shared their experience of managing an enterprise in the context of pandemic, in particular, some of whom managed to save the entire workforce while reducing orders by more than half.

It is worth noting that more than 50% of the MED employees started work remotely during the pandemic. The topic of "remote work" and digital transformation is also covered in the new passport of the National Project "Labor Productivity and Employment Support" curated by the First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov. The national project "Labor Productivity" will be formed by October 2020. It is adjusted in accordance with the decree of the Russian President Vladimir Putin "On national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030".
