The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has developed a draft resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation on amendments to the state program for the development of the North Caucasus Federal district until 2025. The document is published on the Federal portal of draft normative legal acts for public discussion and anti-corruption expertise.
It is proposed to adjust the targets and funding parameters provided by the existing program for 2020, including in connection with the situation caused by the spread of a new coronavirus infection. This year, it is planned to intensify the construction and reconstruction of social facilities: clinics, schools, kindergartens, water pipelines and a water intake tower. The total amount of funding for the program remains unchanged.
Adaptation of the document to current realities is designed to minimize possible risks associated with non-fulfillment of a number of obligations, and speed up the commissioning of important social infrastructure. Currently, the changes are being approved in accordance with the established procedure.
It is worth reminding that the state program for the development of the North Caucasus Federal district until 2025 includes a number of subprograms aimed at creating favorable conditions for the sustainable development of the North Caucasus, increasing the level of investment attractiveness, reducing unemployment and supporting industrial sectors.
